How do I create a PDF that's secured (no copying and printing out)?

Consult your printer manual. Some printers can handle 2-sided printing automatically. With a simpler printer, you can print the odd pages and then put the printed pages in the paper supply tray and print the even pages on the back side. Start with a small document. Most people will put the paper in the wrong way on the first try. Get a 4-page document right and then you can print a larger document.

PDF documents can be cumbersome to edit, especially when you need to change the text or sign a form. However, working with PDFs is made beyond-easy and highly productive with the right tool.

How to Create PDF with minimal effort on your side:

  1. Add the document you want to edit — choose any convenient way to do so.
  2. Type, replace, or delete text anywhere in your PDF.
  3. Improve your text’s clarity by annotating it: add sticky notes, comments, or text blogs; black out or highlight the text.
  4. Add fillable fields (name, date, signature, formulas, etc.) to collect information or signatures from the receiving parties quickly.
  5. Assign each field to a specific recipient and set the filling order as you Create PDF.
  6. Prevent third parties from claiming credit for your document by adding a watermark.
  7. Password-protect your PDF with sensitive information.
  8. Notarize documents online or submit your reports.
  9. Save the completed document in any format you need.

Create PDF: All You Need to Know

There's no excuse to put the wrong side up unless you have no options. You can also put the paper on the “wrong” side, just because, with a simple flip of the page and a little folding the page comes right again. Keep the paper on the left side, even though it might not fit. You can do this using a regular double-sided printer, but you may want to buy a “two layer” machine, so it can print a two-sided page for you. If you put the two sheets of paper on one side and the back page on the back, the pages will fold over on themselves. One way around this is to fold the paper in half. Keep a sharp finger on the page to prevent it from tearing.
